25 years of living
I celebrated my 25th birthday on Saturday. Friends and family called, tweeted, txted (sp?) and wrote on my Facebook wall to wish me a happy birthday. Among those wishes were some more interesting phrases like “How does it feel to be old?” and “Happy Quarter Century!” Reaching the age of 25 seems to be a big milestone. It didn’t hit me until my younger sister exclaimed “You’re halfway to 50!!!” I had never thought about it quite like that before. When I went to work on Monday I repeated my sisters exclamation to my coworkers all of which are either 25 or slightly older. One of my coworkers explained that even though 25 is halfway to 50, it also means that I have 25 more years of living to go through to get to that point. This made me think about all of the things I have experienced in my 25 years of living so far. I decided to come up with a list of 25 events/highlights of my life that span my 25 years.
