Goodbye, Blockbuster Total Access and Hello Netflix…

I cancelled my subscription to Blockbuster Total Access which is the equivalent of the service Netflix provides. My reason for doing so is that I kept getting late fees for the movies I rented when I exchanged my mail-ins at the store. The Blockbuster store nearest to me closed so if I wanted to take advantage of the mail in exchange I had to drive further. On most days I don’t feel like driving any further than I need to to get home so I would skip out on heading to the Blockbuster. Of course Blockbuster wasn’t too happy about not receiving their movies on time so they charged me late fees.

If I had more time to drive to and from Blockbuster locations that aren’t close to me I would consider keeping their total access service. I liked being able to exchange my blurays in store for other movies. But I’m not taking advantage of it like I previously did. Blockbuster is a great service but it’s not for me anymore.
