My iPhone home screen has changed several times over the past few weeks but I think I’ve found a mix of apps for my home screen. My favorite app is Tweetie. I’m using it constantly to check what’s being said on Twitter. I’m always trying new Twitter apps but I keep coming back to Tweetie.
I just discovered Byline and Buddyfeed. Byline is a great app for checking the rss feeds you subscribe to through google reader. I’ve always wanted a native app that allowed me to check my rss feeds and update my google reader likes and notes. Prior to downloading Byline I used the mobile version of google reader. The only compliant I had the site was that the print was small. Byline doesn’t have that problem. The font size is big enough for my liking.
Beejive is another app that’s essential for me. It works extremely well and keeps me connected to my aim, gtalk, yahoo and facebook contacts. It’s the most expensive app I’ve ever bought but it’s well worth it.
